Athletes can register with a partner or as an individual. If registering as an individual, we will ensure you have a training partner each session.

Monday and Wednesday 

 

Group A: 4:15pm - 5:45pm 

This training group will consist of athletes born in 2011 or later. These athletes are newer to beach volleyball and have limited indoor experience.    

 

Group B: 5:45pm - 7:15pm 

This training group will consist of athletes born in 2010 or 2011.  The majority of athletes will have 1-2 years of beach volleyball experience and play indoor rep volleyball.

 

Tuesday and Thursday 

 

Group C: 4:15pm - 5:45pm

This training group will consist of athletes born in 2009 or 2011.  The majority of athletes will have 2-4 years of beach volleyball experience and play indoor rep volleyball.

 

Group D: 5:45pm - 7:15pm 

This training group will consist of athletes born in 2008 or later.  These athletes will have several years of beach volleyball experience and/or play indoor rep volleyball at a high level.

**It is Burloak Volleyballs intent to place athletes in the best group possible for their development.  Courts are levelled during training sessions to ensure athletes are challenged and playing with others of similar skill level. **

The lead coaches for Burloak Beach Volleyball will be Kevin Horne, Denyse Wahlgren and Kiera McCarles.  Training will be adapted to the appropriate level for each group.  Burloak Volleyball is committed to maintaining a low athlete to coach ratio and will have experienced coaches on all courts.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BELOW

 The first week of training (May 26 to 29, 2025) will be used as an evaluation week to ensure athletes were placed into the appropriate training group by the Burloak Beach Coaches.  Athletes MAY be asked to move to different training groups/times if their skill level does not match the level of the group.  Our goal is always to offer the best possible training environment for each athlete.  If a player is unable to switch groups at that time, we will issue a refund, minus a $50 administration fee.

 

Cancellation Policy:  Refunds will be issued up until May 1, 2025 minus a $25 administration fee.  After May 1, 2025, and up until June 2, 2025, refunds will be issued minus a $50 administration fee.

Once training has begun and after the evaluation week, (after June 2nd, 2025), NO refunds will be issued.
